Dil toh bacha hain ji

Well the title obviates any need to tell what this post is all about. I just came from watching another classic movie by Vishal Bharadwaj named “dil toh bacha hain ji”. One of the most awaited movie of 2011 has somewhere down the line disappointed the audience. The abrupt ending took place when the movie really caught the audience’s attention. A movie starring Ajay Devgan is assumed to have woth against the inflating prices of tickets(excluding morning show).Other so called actors(Emraan Hashmi) was given the job at which he is naturally skilled. Chatur(as we know) was able to bring faint smile on the faces of audience. Now even after such a bad experience, I surprisingly liked the movie. One actor which took away all the credit was sensuous, callipygian & aphrodisiacal damsel beauty Nikki Narang aka Shruti Hasan

  2. disagree!
Firstly, the movie ends with the message that every ending has a new beginning so laugh at the confusion, live for the moment and know that everything happens for a reason! (NOT abrupt - there was a message! and NOT a new one)

it was not the ending but it was from the beginning till the end that it failed to catch audience's interest due to various failed attempts to bring out the characters and situations properly. You find it abrupt ending because the ending was the only part where you actually were able to connect or say understand the characters/situations of the movie/story( then again "remotely" not fully but then interest did get generated). So thats when you wanted the movie to continue. What movie should have have been able to do was to make the characters connect with the audience from the starting- so ending was fine!

secondly, Emraan Hashmi was plain boring!..i agree here.

thirdly, there was no surprise in you liking the movie by the end of the day -> that was because of your low expectations(any guesses! well a movie casting Shruti Hasan) which had nothing to do with the movie performance as a whole.

and for god sake!! Shruti Hasan beauty is not even real!
    :) :)

  3. @thought criminal-yeah,even she was beautiful but was portrayed a bit dumb, which made me not to mention here.
@anonymous-well for your first & third reason,I dint have low expectations from the movie,on the contrary,I thought it to be a great one(credit to vishal bharadwaj). Now I agree with you at this point that movie couldn't get hold of the audience's attention since its beginning. But I liked the movie only for the message it conveyed-love is not a one time affair,it happens again & again.
