Nirvana in Mocha
Rarely do you appreciate the fact that we grow older & older each day. How you started cycling without your dad standing behind. How you started having rolls in canteen instead of mom’s paranthas. How you started borrowing your dad’s car instead of asking for him to drop.
I am talking about the moment when my friend from our group got placed. As he was the first one to achieve the milestone, we all decided that it must be celebrated in the grandest way possible. We pondered over many ideas & contemplated many of them. At the end of rigorous thinking, we all settled to the idea of having drinks in castle9@CP and then going to famous hookah joint “Mocha”
Castle9@CP is the normal bar where you can appreciate the pleasure of a glass of vodka sitting in the heart of
Now the best thing about hookah is that it hardly leaves you with any guilt and thus is best for people like me. Another attraction is the bold & beautiful girls there invigorating the whole environment. The moment you enter, it seems like we are up to some good deed & should start as soon as possible. In my personal opinion the Mocha@GK2 is much better than at Defcol or galleria market. The opened porch area there gives a totally different surrounding. Coming back to the scene, we all sat down occupying the veranda seats & waited for the menu. Throwing my eye balls on each & every flavor, my eyes stuck to one name “nirvana”, though I am neither spiritual nor a great fan of band “nirvana” but somehow I sensed an urge to have nirvana. So in accord of the whole group, we ordered nirvana. The hookah lasted hardly for half an hour but in the meanwhile I thought of this blog, about my friends ,about my college, my future & one more thing- how in my childhood I said one day to my dad “dad, don’t smoke, don’t you know its injurious for your health.”
Identity Crisis
Now, here I am alluding to the most pandemic but least noticed element of personality i.e. identity crisis. I define it as the mental state in which person doesn’t find his/her niche in the existing environment & tries to come out of the situation in an aggravated manner either by doing things which shows his worthiness or by accusing his/her surroundings for the present scenario.
What kind of people?
- People who have been earlier in places which gave them authority or importance and with time they think that they have lost their worthiness. In such situations people loses their stability of mind & become high-tempered, hyper & a person emanating negativity. With such kind of people around you, one hardly can do anything productive.
- People whose social life is very restricted & when they get exposure to the colorful life, they get fantasized about the people & try to somehow live like them which in urbane language can be termed as wannabe.
Symptoms:
· People who have been with the affected person can easily pinpoint that the person is having identity crisis.
· One is always unsatisfied & insatiate by his life, whatever is the situation.
· People try to imitate the ones from whom they are fantasized & they pretend as if they have been doing a particular thing for ages.
· People do not miss any opportunity to let down the person because of which they feel their identity in danger.
Cure:
· One of the most effective methods is to keep in mind” never ever there have been two similar people. If every person had to be same then why did god make different life forms, different plants, and different fruits? Every holy soul on this earth has a particular reason to live. One has just to make sure he is justifying his very reason.
Be Confident. Simple but useful. Nothing is impossible if you have the will to make it possible. One thing you have in your hands is to try because those who try only they succeedCWG & SHE
When everyone is geared up for the upcoming CWG games,how can i be far behind?I asked her for the games & she gave an instant reply"you haven't bought them yet?Here i was,again one step behind her,to identify the moments we can enjoy.I quickly replied with a beam "no.I've bought them,i was just asking,if you will be able to adjust your busy college schedule?"WITH A COYISH SMILE,SHE SAID"YEAH,I'D LOVE TO".
SO,i quickly came to my hostel(@IITR),ASKED MY FRIEND WHO HAD HIS ACCOUNT ACTIVATED TO BOOK TWO TICKETS.Now one hurdle was which ticket to buy?One costed 750 bucks way out of my reach,other was 250,must be for the students like us.I opted for 250 wala ticket.Then,as per her request i booked two tickets for TENNIS.Now ,all i know about tennis is that Federer recently hit the famous twinner.That's it.Now,for a person like me,who wants to be best in front of her girl,this lack of knowledge will surely hit my ego & spoil my idea for enjoying CWG amongst the roaring crowd.I am left with only one option now,to talk to my friend Mr. Aditya (kholu) and soak as much knowledge as i can about the game.One more thing to worry about is crowd.What type of crowd will be there in the stadium?As convinced by my almost roomie gaurav, tennis is the game which is enjoyed by elite class,so ,dnt worry & enjoy with your girl.!
But one more thing,how will we reach to R.K.Khanna stadium?
I guess with so many problems raising their heads,& me in not a situation to handle(due to mid terms),i leave all these to be tacked by time...
& for the time being.......utho jiyo khelo..
MICROFINANCE
Microfinance is complete in its name-micro means small & finance means money.It relates to the money matters which deals with the smaller section.In India.this industry has grown up to 16000 crore & is still growing. It is basically based on non-collateral transactions & requires huge initial capital. It basically requires a group of people who have their earninings greater than their expenditure or in other words who have money to save.They may not fetch money in short run but in a larger span of time,it will generate income definitely depending on the efficiency of your plans etc.This has been successful in Bangladesh where the organisation named BRAC is taking the charge of microfinance there.In India,this has been implemented by many organisations like AIF etc.
Let’s understand basically what does microfinance or particularly IMPACT INVESTMENT means.Suppose there are 4 people who come together & vow that they will every week deposit 100 rupees .Now after every month they will have 400 hundred rupeed in ther reserves.Now if someone is in a need of money then he can withdraw that amount from the reserve, obviously with the consent of the other group members, on an interest basis say he withdraws 100 rupees on an interest rate of 10% monthly.He repays 100 along with 10 rupees as interest.Now this 10 rupees will be divided amongst the four persons i.e 2.5 per person.
Now here what an MFI does is that it collectivises the group of people having same characteristics either on the basis of religion,caste,profession etc.Then it lends the money on a quantum scale i.e it do not lend money on a continuous basis but lend like 5000,10000,15000 & not 7000 or 12000.Here,the group is given say 100 per person,then in a group of five the amount given is 500.Now here the amount is loaned & then after a particular period of time it has to be repaid at the stipulated interest rate.If a particular person is not able to repay for whatever reason it has to be born by other four person.This is called JLG or joint liability group.
The basic negative factor here is it being non-collateral in nature.How can you trust a person & lend money running in thousands?Now here comes the vision & income regeneration techniques.If you think that a group is in genuine need of money and is capable of generating income in future then lending money will not be a bad debt!
P.S –This requires a huge capital so better search for a venture capitalist or get adopted by Bill gates.
DEMISE OF NATURE’S SUPREMACY-FAR AWAY
The recent crippling of air travels in Europe due to Icelandic volcanoe that erupted has left human generation thinking.All they could do was to wait for the sky to get clear of the ash thick enough to have the rotors jammed.The bustling airports have added the chaos, throwing light on the inadequacy of the European response to the unfamiliar disaster.The volcanoe ash is thick enough & can’t be penetrated thus the only option left is roadways.Officials are trying to come up with the maps of roads in order to help the passengers.There have been till now no cases in which an aeroplane has to be flied in the volcanoe ashes except one which took place in 1989 where the pilot was able to get the engines stated just before they were to crash.It is said that no thrust must be added to the dying engine in such a case as it only thickens the ashes and jams the rotor.
This incident has crippled the whole EU’s economy as well has highlighted the shortcomings of airways over roadways such as time consuming checks,constantly decreasing leg space,hefty charges on weights exceeding the limits etc.So, on the part of the scientists community it becomes essential to come up with the technology which can combat with disasters like this in future and provide much more control in taming the situations
MNS OR RSS???
The declaration of ”Mumbai for marathis” has attacked the very right of freedom by which you can travel & stay in any part of the country. Development of Mumbai is shared equally by marathis as well as expatriators . Even during 26/11 attack,cops from UP,Bihar & Rajasthan also fought bravely.So,why then at that time MNS didn’t enforced his slogan”mumbau for marathis”.The recent secular remarks by legendary Sachin Tendulakar & SRK resulted in protests outside their houses.This clearly showcasts the ‘dadagiri’ of MNS.
It does not mean that RSS is right in its ways.Who will forget the Babri masjid demolition which was perfectl planned & backed by RSS.Even RSS also divides people on the basis of religion & hits on the basic roots of democracy.From article 370,constitution says that non-kashmiris & kashmiri pundits are not allowed to buy property in Kashmir.
This means “Kashmir for kashmiris”,”Mumbai for marathis”,”rajasthan for rajasthanis” & thus we end up on”India not for Indians but for states””
Where are we going wrong?
In a democracy,we have the right to protest & right to vote as our basic weapons.We should choose that party which may emphasise their community’s interest but does not curb the independence & basic rights of others.If MNS OR RSS are in existence,this surely means that regionalism is still somewhere prevailing in the common man’ s heart.
Valentine's Day
Making us feel the month of love.
But still,there was no life ,no moments to share.
If anything was there, that was silence.
Silence in my prayers,silence in my thoughts.
Silence was all around.
Even I cried silently perching under the tree.
And there I saw something which changed my whole world.
Historians describe time in B.C’s & A.D’s,
But I describe it from the time I saw you.
That flawless laughter can even force roses to feel inferior.
Your face as glowing as sun & as mischieveous as a stormy night.
Eyes were deep persuading me to measure their depth.
Simple earrings were like set of rainbows after rain,
Showing every color as you turn.
Was that a black magic or my imagination?
Does she speak?is she real???
She comes close to me,my eyes wide opened!!
I ask her, are you real??
She pinched me & said” God wanted people like you who are noble,peace lover & most importantly a true human being to be happy.”
So,He sent me in this love filled time of year.
She said”On this valentine,I want to ask”will you be my valentine?”
I ,shocked & astonished,on my luck couldn’t say yes.
She felt disappointed,she went away.
I kept calling her,but she didn’t turn back.
Will I ever meet her again??

Being a male dominant society,India till the half of twentieth century had not focussed on the decreasing sex ratio & other problems that were prevailing in every strata of society.Females,though ,are the future progenitor is most deprived of the two sexes.People still want to have a male child in their house due to patriarchal set up of society.It,not only prevails in the uneducated and uninformed section but also in the highly educated and sophisticated section of Indian society.Girls are still considered to be inside the four walls & unproductive in the economy.There is almost 50% of the female population who get married at the tender age of 18.What do we expect from the society where still girls are killed to please gods and goddesses.Why will god be happy at the killing of his most beautiful and responsible creature.The case worsens in the areas like Punjab and Haryana where the people are now compelled to search for the brides outside their states.The cause for this severe situation of this sex is the flaw in our ancient scriptures that portray men to be the leaders of family & women the other halves of men but which is not functional in any major process of society.This led people to the stereotype that females are only an object of beauty which can be placed in their living room at daytime and bedroom in night.According to the recent studies,it has been found out that females are more productive in stressfull situations and they are more cool minded,calm and pleasent in their behaviour when talking to clients.After the 1970 era,India has faced many revolutionary ideas implemented,which basically focussed on empowering women and providing them their very rights of dignity and freedom.Now,many programmes are in operation like indira Gandhi matratva sahyog yojna that helps conditionally to pregnant ant lactating mothers focussing on the fact that children will be healthier only when mothers are healthy.The second one is named on late Rajiv Gandhi which helps the poor girls to have their basic need meet.
The two sexes can not be at par untill each and every strata of society raise its voice against girl discrimination,and create awareness among the people that girls have equal potential to run family business and to give holy fire to dead parents you need not be son.
I urge you to create as much awareness as possible to increase our sex ratio from 927 per 1000 so as to have this most sensible,responsible species to live to its fullest.
ADAM & EVE-SCHOOL DAYS
Sometimes you meet with those people who may not have any blood relations with you but they become more important, more adorable than your other near & dear ones. I always imagined my girlfriend to be a homely girl, typically traditional & one who can take care of my family.
A dream may come true only when you need it rather than when you want it. For me, that was what I wanted but I now realise that what i needed was you .I think we generally don’t agree at any point but still we have many things in common, like, we both are sweet natured creatures who can be easily fooled by other people emotionally (emotional fools), we both give more importance to the person who have more brains than the one having money. we have a friendly nature but still from the inner core of our heart we still feel alone. We both want to have a good career but are still not able to figure out to do that. We both are slim , tender , fair, short heighted, innocent beings.
Though we have fought a lot in these last few months,but even after fights when i use to remember you,i remember your giggling and innocent face rather than your shrew one.I just cant think of you not in my life.I think my life has been completed by you.You made my life successfull in every aspect.You ARE the one with which i feel myself protected & cared.
At the end i will try to write a poem for you again,
Some say its infatuation,some say it lust.
Its also called need,some may even call it to be must.
The system goes well,with one adam & eve,though eves are less with lesser on stake.
Darwin’s survival of fittest applies,the fittest gets the curviest of all.
For the person who are rarely appreciated,its the tough job,
Rather he should go for some other jobs!!!!

Each day getting to the coaching as early as possible,
Battling with the notes as soon as the other enters.
Trying to solve the problem parallel with his own love equation.
Just in case the eyes meet,the respone limits to the speechless affirmation to wait after classes.
While the teacher is engrossed in teaching,they wanted to have some real application.
AS the class ended,the guy collects his stuff as if he had been asked to stay after class.
Eve tries to bid good bye to her so called friends,just to catch adam.
Other student ,though single but knew the basic rules of relationship & friendship.
You have to be at the place where your friend is proposing his girl friend.
Amongst the all odds,adam says
